March 2003, particularly the latter couple of weeks, saw the trout taking almost any fly pattern. Quite a few trout have been caught on dry fly such as the classic Red Tag. The fish have been jumping right out of the water catching some sort of dragonfly or mayfly.
The weather has been beautiful. Lovely days without too much wind and the nights are cooling down but not too cold. We believe Autumn is the best time to visit the New England.
