The much awaited rain arrived - already 200 mm of rain recorded for January 2004. The weather has been very warm making fishing more challenging, although excellent fishing was recorded mid January with many fish including a 4lb brown trout caught (see the Gallery Page, "A Trout Double"). The most successful flies were the M.R.E. (see "Flies from 2003") and small brown nymphs.
