The fly featured this month is the "Brown Woolly Bugger".
Fishing during February was exciting with some excellent catches recorded. Fish ranging from 1½lb to 3lb were mainly caught with a few 6 pounders landed from the deeper water. There was a lot of surface activity late in the afternoon. The flies that had the most success were the woolly buggers (mainly brown and olive green) and nymphs.
